Fans of The Bodarks have gained a reputation of their own by taking an active part in the hootenannies with tambourines, spoons, cajons, kazoos, etc.  Blitz Weekly caught the mayhem at Deep Ellum's 2015 Big Folkin' Fest and reported, “The Bodarks were a beautiful blend of delightful harmonies that had the audience singing along to their songs as if it were their favorite karaoke jam.” These “Bodarkistas” pulled together and completely funded the band's first full-length album, released in January of 2015.
